Serving the local community with finest, local produce, White Row consists of an extensive and award winning farm shop, florist and gift shop, a café, restaurant and grill, fresh fish counter and butchers and a fish and chip shop.

With outdoor seating and children’s play area and not forgetting the chickens and the pigs, White Row is definitely worth a visit.

The Woolpack - at the mini roundabout in the centre of the village. The Woolpack Hotel, according to local tradition, was built as three cottages in 1581.  Now part of the Old English Inns chain, the bar provides a selection of real cask ales and light meals, with an open fire for colder times.  There is a separate dining area inside and a small patio garden area to the rear.


The Foresters Arms - down the hill, left into Goose St, 50 yards on the right. Excellent food, friendly service and a good selection of beers.
